Frequently Asked Questions

How do critiques work?

Critiques are delivered as annotated overlays with voice notes. You will receive clear directives on structure, value grouping, and edge control for your next submission.

What is the expected weekly time commitment?

Most courses suggest 4–6 focused hours per week. Masterclasses may require 8–10 hours including live critiques.

Do I need prior experience?

Beginners are welcome. We recommend starting with Foundations to establish gesture, proportion, and basic light logic.

Are refunds available?

Yes. If the course is not what you expected, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. For live cohorts, refunds are available before the second session.

Do you issue certificates?

We provide a signed completion letter summarizing your syllabus and critique milestones. This is not an accredited diploma.

What materials do I need?

A basic kit: smooth sketch paper, HB–4B graphite pencils, kneaded eraser, and a blending stump. Charcoal and ink courses list additional materials in their intros.

Can I switch tracks after enrolling?

Yes. Email concierge and we will transfer your tuition to another course before you reach the second lesson checkpoint.

What if I fall behind?

Self-paced courses never expire. For live cohorts, we provide recordings and an adjusted brief so you can rejoin without stress.

Do you have scholarships?

Yes. We maintain a small scholarship fund supported by our community. You can add a voluntary donation at checkout.
